The Maghreb magpie

The Maghreb magpie, Pica mauritanica, is considered to be a sub species of the Eurasian magpie.
The most noticeable difference in the patch of blue skin behind the eye, clearly seen here.

This magpie was fishing out bits of paper caught between the tiles, possibly for nest building purposes.
