Chester FC 3 Eastleigh 1

The fund raising match on Thursday helped raise spirits at the club and there was a buzz around the ground before kick-off today. Thankfully the players rose to the occasion and put in a much-improved performance to beat Eastleigh 3-1. Whether they can maintain this is open to question but I couldn't fault them today. There is another home match on Tuesday so if they can win that then there is perhaps a little hope although I still think it is too much to ask. One of the best players today was new signing Dominic Vose. He was playing for expenses only so I'm not sure we will be able to keep him as Im sure he will be snapped up by another club.
