Tall and small

The sports hall for Ella’s birthday party was booked for 10.30 am. 40 children arrived. Hooray for high ceilings to absorb the noise. There was loads to do and they had fun.

On the way out Nathaniel and James went to investigate these giraffes.

We went back to their house for a bit of present opening, then home to get ready for the next party. It was a lovely surprise 70th birthday for Val. We were able to walk as it was just up the hill. So many interesting people from all over Britain came. Val has used a wheelchair since she got MS not long after her only daughter was born 30 years ago. She is such a fun friend, and it was a warm, jolly party.
