Shiny facade of Maidstone Council’s offices
A second glorious day. The usual walk into town this morning through Mote Park which was busy with all sorts of groups of people including a whole crowd from the Dachshund Appreciation Society who streamed past us with their little sausage dogs.
The afternoon was devoted to getting together all the paperwork for next week’s trip and trying to decide what oven to have. We want a built under oven, but can’t decide whether to have a single (larger) or a double (more oven but the main oven being smaller than that of a single. Then there’s a question of the hob.
We reached an impasse and will have to look again tomorrow. Talk about leaving things to the last minute.
Trying to use things up in the fridge, especially a jar of jalfrazi paste, so we had that with chicken, tomatoes and a few remaining mushrooms. Rounded off with ice cream, chocolate and coffee.
