Dragon Boat....

The Marlborough Camera Club had a Field Trip to the Grovetown Lagoon this morning. It is a waterbody which is being enhanced with native planting’s and trapping of predators. A real local community project. The lagoon is near the lower reaches of the Wairau River. We came across a dragon boat with an all-women crew just about to finish a training session on the river. A beautiful day even though it was a bit too hot for comfort.
