The Sweetest Haunted House Ever

My little Sugar and I had a really productive day. We organized her room. It has been needed a good "going through" for awhile.

As a reward for our hard work, we sat down and had some fun. I had a Gingerbread house kit from TWO Christmas' ago. It has been sitting there unused, and unloved. Often, my Sugar would ask, "When are we EVER gonna make that?" and I'd always shrug. The past two years we've been invited to our neighbor's house for a "gingerbread house making party", so we haven't needed this kit.

Today....I decided to open it right up and make it into a Halloween House. Oh we had fun. We turned the gingerbread man into a witch, and the snowman into a mummy. The activity was fun, the company was darling, and the outcome is a favorite decoration in our house this season. Time well spent.
