Kat .....

.... who visited very early this morning for his breakfast.  He sat under the chair in the dining room for some time and then he disappeared, so I assumed he had gone out.  How wrong I was, went into the bedroom and there he was making himself at home on the bed.

This leads me to think at some time he was a house cat.   Someone in the village had a poster up about her missing cat and I was hoping it was Kat but after a phone call he wasn't hers.    He comes and goes and tolerates us as we feed him, but he is still very nervous and growls at us a lot.   I've only managed to stroke his back once and that was while he was feeding.   Looking at him on the bed, he looks like butter wouldn't melt in his mouth     Don't know how he's going to manage this week, as our son and daughter in law and children are coming for half term and they are bringing their rescue dog which they've only had for a few weeks.   I'm sure he will survive, but hope he comes back for food occasionally.
