Kyles of Bute

So today we finally dropped the cats off at bootcamp and headed West. Bella most certainly deserved to be locked up in a cage after this morning's performance. This cat, who will eat nothing but Purina Gourmet Double Delicacies and look at us like we've put a dead dog in front of her if we so much as confuse her dinner with Marnie's Sheba - well this morning, after I'd sorted out their food for going away, she decided to slice open 2 of Marnie's Sheba pouches & scoff the lot, apart from the mess she left everywhere!

Anyway, Mr M did a very good job of clearing up & off we set with Bella howling full pitch continuously in the back for the best part of an hour & Marnie issuing the odd squeak. Once we dropped them off the journey was more pleasantly accompanied by the new Jake Bugg album. The views once we hit Loch Lomond are simply stunning. We stopped at Inverary for a cuppa & mooch round the local shops before heading right down Loch Fyne to Portavadie Marina. Our apartment here is amazing, we even have our own Sauna (!) & the scenery is breathtaking. We're only here til Monday.... I think they may need to evict me to get me to leave...
