Snowdrop Festival
On to the Forest of Dean this morning to visit M-in-L .
We always look for somewhere to go or something to do rather than sit in her flat.
Today we visited a garden that was only open for the NGS Snowdrop Festival but the snowdrops were few and far between (unlike Wiltshire where there are carpets of them on the verges)
However, the garden had streams and trees so we enjoyed our visit nonetheless.
In a later visit to a cafe we gained insight into MIL understanding of money; the new £5 notes "are not real" and a handful of coppers is enough to buy tea for 3.
