Curious

I thought I could here a road roller away down the hill but a more focused listen revealed it to be mass drumming.
I thought of taking a walk to have a look but laziness dictated that I put the drone up for a reconnaissance flight.
I didn’t see anything.
I had to look up how to spell that.
As an Airfix kit building kid I thought it was pronounced recognise-istance.
Btw - I’ve always been able to spell hear despite what my fingers do on a phone keypad.
