'Unfurling Fronds'
Little ferns slowly unfurling in the Spring weather.
This was taken only about 30 metres away from yesterday's blip shot(s). It's at a little park near home called Peppers Paddock. Every couple of months a local group of gardeners called 'Friends Of Watery Gully' get together to work in this area to plant and rejuvenate the local flora.
It was a beautiful sunny morning and I was out again in search of today's blip before breakfast.
This afternoon was the annual Practically Green Festival at Edendale Farm (a local council community farm) where I went to see another one of my favourite Aussie artists play. Mia Dyson and her band, glad I went she put on a brilliant performance. Later in the afternoon I went home and picked up both kids to drag them along to see the Stax on Soul Revue Band. What a fantastic sound this band had, playing all of the Stax Records hits from over the years. There was a lot of dancing to this set, and they were also featuring the very talented Kylie Auldist & Loretta Miller on vocals. Awesome day and great weather.
Mrs Rosewarne stayed home and worked on her talk she's preparing for next weekends seminar. Thinks she's just about there now.
