Stop the Turbine Taliban!

There is a defined area for demonstrations outside the SNP conference in Perth. I wonder if you have to book it? Yesterday there were a few Scottish Socialists. Today it was packed with windfarm protesters. There were groups from all over Scotland and they were making a truly impressive amount of noise.

(I'm a bit ambivalent about wind power myself. If I thought it could make a real impact on global warming I'd sacrifice every hilltop. But I have a sneaking suspicion that wind turbines are just a diversion to make it look as if we are doing something.)
