Golden treats

Shared this lovely dessert with The Other-half this evening. If it wasn't for so much over indulgence whilst we were away I'd have devoured it myself!
Woke early despite the late night and felt pretty rubbish due to a sinus issue! The other half headed to work and I set to getting the washing sorted.
I headed into town to collect a parcel and then brunched alone with a flat white and some uni books. It was nice to spend some time alone!
Once The Other half arrived home we headed for tea at The Mother's. I even prepped some courgetti to take with me!
We watched a film before heading home for an early night.
