Back to the decorating and such today after we'd said goodbye to R&D.

Spent most of the day on the Problematic Room - the nominal linen cupboard cum ex-loo cum ex-part-of-bathroom.  Having dealt with one end of the problem I needed to lift the floorboards to sort some of them out. This particular floor's clearly been high on the neglected list and notably nibbled in places. 

So, while they're up, recording the wires that lurk underneath.  The armoured red ones are fire alarm; the coils are wiring-in-waiting when we eventually tackle some of the downstairs rooms.
