Late Sunlight on the Hills

Hot, sunny days are welcome any time! It's been a beautiful day, which saw me visiting the roof, several storeys high, before dark to catch the sunlight on the hills that were free from cloud for a while this evening.

My Extra is of three sub-tropical butterflies - well, four to be accurate: a Clouded Yellow, a Canary Red Admiral, and a pair of mating Monarchs. The Canary Red Admiral is drinking from the Madeiran national flower: Pride of Madeira.

Slight headache today, but nothing compared with yesterday's day-and-night migraine that was the worse I've ever had. By tomorrow I should be 100% again and ready to hit the levada walks again - or tickle a gentle one, at any rate!
