Mono Monday - Out of my comfort zone.

I can see from other entries that I'm not alone in what is out of my comfort zone in photography.  It's not the mono, I did black and white film photography many years ago and like it.  I would much rather be taking the shot than in the shot.  

We woke up to snow!  I thought I might as well give a selfie a try, put the camera on the tripod but the cable release is only a couple feet long, so I had to then figure out how to use the camera connect to the phone, so that could be my remote.  I didn't have very much time to get all this accomplished as my folks had a doctor appointment and did not want to drive in the snow, I had to be at their home by 9:00 am.  

Posting earlier than I normally do as the snow is almost gone and I will most likely not do another selfie.
