In Town

And so, over 2 weeks after I first got ill, I finally got back into the car and drove again. The Wonderspouse and I only took a very short trip into town, and I only walked from the car to WHSmith and back, then waited in the car while the Wonderspouse did the shopping, but it felt like such progress!

After 2 weeks of barely leaving my bed or sofa, the outside world seemed very big and very fast and very bright. I felt very weak and vulnerable, but it was a huge achievement, and seemed as though I was getting back to some sort of real life again!
