A learner's perspective

Wouldn't it be more effective to let a learner of Mandarin Chinese to share her experience of learning the language with others than me as a native speaker of Chinese?

Difficult or different? They have their own feel depending on the targets. But it was a highly interactive session that all seemed happy in trying it out, including the characters - the most challenging part for beginners.
