Mrs Cardinal in the rain

Today was Family day in Ontario, it meant a day off work and a nice long weekend in the middle of February. I was a damp day so most of the days was spent at home doing some tidying up. I did get out for a walk in the light drizzle in the afternoon it was still cool 4C. Many birds and squirrels were out looking for food. This cardinal sat for several minutes in the rain before coming to get food.
