Tropical Gardens

Something totally different today - we walked to a nearby resort for lunch, but were quite disappointed with the food - nowhere near as good as where we are staying, and not a patch on the meals we've enjoyed at the seafood restaurant on the pier in the village. Anyway - it was worth the visit as we strolled through the gardens on our return journey. The tide was in by this time, so it was more difficult to walk along the beach - it would have been more of a wade than a walk. The gardens were fabulous - giant versions of every house plant that we have in the UK. Some trees and fruits we have never seen before anywhere, including this one in my main photo.
