OMG, ex Cyclone Gita is throwing a big punch today.  
Here is Timaru it has rained heavily all last night and today continuously.  The wind has picked up in the last three hours.  85mm rain so far and far from over.  
Many places have declared a State of Emergency - Christchurch, the West Coast & Nelson area.  "they" from the Met Office predict worse conditions over night.....Why do these things come at night.

An indoor day obviously, this blip taken through a rain sodden window, manual focus (hence nothing in focus)....just a bit of fun.

A perfect day to sit in front of the telly and watch the final of the Ice Dancing....I was totally mesmerised.  I did edit some photos from time to time.
