Evening visitor

This large snail at the front door startled my bookclub friends when they left my house.... they thought they'd had too much wine!!! I think it's a giant land snail.
Even Oscar dog didn't know how to react!
(a back blip - I was too tired last night. It's always a relief when ones turn to host the bookclub dinner is over!)
