A Sunday Trot

The weather forecast was for it to be 20 degrees and sunny today, so we contemplated going to the coast. However, when we got up it was very misty and quite damp so we decided not to bother.

Instead we drove to Tervuren a nice little town about 2o minutes away, and we did a 6kms walk through the park and forest, before stopping to have a hot chocolate in the main square, when the sun finally came out.

The park is lovely - there are lakes all the way round with so many different kinds of birds, swans and ducks. Needless to say, I took lots of photos and then struggled to choose my blip, but I particularly like this one of the horse & rider in the forest which looks nice close up.

Friends have invited us round for Sunday dinner tonight so we're looking forward to that - it makes a nice change to have a Sunday roast cooked for us :-)
