Impulse buy

The vibrant colours of these pots of hyacinths were so attractive in the garden centre, I just had to buy one. It looks good in our hallway, and gives a welcoming sight and perfume to visitors. I also bought a mixed pot of spring flowers to go outside at the front.
I had a long phone call this morning with an old friend. It is her birthday today, and for just a few months she is a year older than me! She has moved away down to Dorset, so we don't often see each other, but keep in touch with emails and phone calls.
