The penguin and the sea rabbit

This week was "savage seas" week and today was the day for dressing up.

Hannah chose to be a penguin. The costume was made and the face paint applied. We were just about to set off when Alice announced she would be a rabbit.
Quick trawl through the dressing up box and we were off.
There were a lot of pirates and mermaids in the classroom but only one penguin!

Alice was a rabbit all day, everywhere we went people smiled and "aaahhh"ed.

At pickup time it was clear that Hannah had stayed in costume all day too.

And on the walk home the kids were so excited to see Grandma and Grandpa coming up the street to meet them... I think there is an exciting weekend ahead for them.
