Towards Helvellyn

Today we came back home having completed all the jobs in the cottage.   

While charging the car at the fast charger in Keswick we went for a coffee in Merienda cafe.  There we bumped into Sue Middleton and had an impromptu Blipmeet.

The weather was gorgeous and we took the route through the centre where I took this picture.

One recharge at Charnock Richard services while having lunch got us all the way home.

PS - Great news that the plans for a zip wire at Thirlmere have been dropped.
