Lonely

Crocus korolkowii, is named for General N. J. Korolkov, a Russian botanist who collected plants in Central Asia in the early 1870s, & for whom a gardened honeysuckle, a species iris, & other plants are named.   I've grown this form for almost twenty years but it's not increased or set seed.  In a pot, all on it's lonesome ownsome.


A busy day.  Jamie had a very belated Birthday (Nov '17) get-together with his friends from his former school.  We slowly accumulated teenagers during the day.  Four of them hugely enjoyed an hour of Laser-Tag as a Norwich outlet and returned here for tea.  Plans for another meet-up in the Easter holidays.  One happy Jamie :-)
