World's Ugliest Afghan

This lovely piece was apparently made by my great grandfather in his later (perhaps more senile?) years. It is itchy, ugly, an odd shape, and frankly, is not the cherished heirloom that perhaps he thought he was passing on. This weekend, we finally severed ties with it, and donated it to a local used clothing store. Perhaps we should've burned it.
