Virtual Shower

Since Bob and Christine (and Fletcher) are all the way in Albuquerque, it makes it hard to get together to throw them a baby shower.... next best thing? A Virtual Shower.

We met up at Christine's parents house, along with Madeline and Gabe (also expecting - same due dates...) to celebrate the newest additions to both families. We enjoyed a lasagna & salad lunch and logged onto Skype with Bob and Christine.

The gifts had been sent previously and Bob did a great job at wrapping and prepping the apartment for a party. It was great to be able to watch as she opened each gift. Every one was different, there were no duplicates - except for Babies-R-Us gift cards. We all ooohed & ahhhed at the clothes, the hats, the shoes, the toys...

It was great to be able to connect and I'm thankful for the technology that allowed us to do so!

Now... I can't wait until our Emelia arrives and I'm able to spoil her rotten!!
