That's the real name, I've always called them dragon's whiskers.  This is a particularly fine example, I think.  Which of the three appeals to you?

Fell into a deep sleep late afternoon, woke about 6PM, not knowing whether I had slept through to morning, or if it was evening.   Evening, it was.   Unfortunately no blip taken yet.   Beautiful flowers to the rescue!
