The front windmill as seen here is an original that is built here on that spot.( 1770) The name of it is "the St Janshuis Windmill" In an earlier faze it was connected to the old "St Jans Hospital" (12th century) here in Bruges. (Now a museum) A new "St.Jans hospital" (third version)was built on a new location in  late 1970.
The greyish windmill further on is named  "The Bonne Cherie" (1844) and it was before in the village of Olsene. This windmill is here built -rebuild in 1911.
"The St.janshuis windmill "is in function and in summer open as a museum  to the public .
