Reap What You Sow

There was a time when this car park was full, then the landlords income fell, they introduced new ticket machines which the elderly can struggle with. Cameras record your time of entry and if too long a time frame before ticket purchase a penalty notice is issued, the same computer records your exit time and again too long a time frame between ticket expiry and exit, penalty notice issued.
There are even reports of penalty notices being issued because someone other than the driver purchased the ticket or because “your times nearly up and you won’t make it out in time”.
Clearly as the number of car park users drop the fall in revenue is prevented by the increase in penalty fines.
I’m still under the weather but buoyed by a lovely letter from Chloe and Freya, Science Museum here we come.
