Japonica glistens.

Today we identified all the moving parts of our projects and started planning how they will all fit together in the time available.  It was appropriate, therefore, that the Japonica was glistening in the hedges as we took our afternoon walk, reminding me of Henry Reed's poem about rifle instruction during national service:  "Today we have naming of parts.  Japonica glistens like coral in all of the neighbouring gardens, And today we have naming of parts."
