Wild Wednesday: Marina Promenade

Another busy day that seemed to vanish very quickly. We left home too early so were able to sit by the sea and enjoy the cool breeze coming off it before G did her one and only lesson with her special needs kid!

I went into my favourite (pre-winter) hang-out - The Mall - and was shocked to see how many businesses have closed down in just the last few months, including our favourite The Hutch!

Workday over and we raced up to Marina Mall to meet up with Simone (Se-mo-nay) who is new to our Bible Study group. We shared about our new venture with her and she is keen to help in any way she can, so we sat and chatted for what turned out to be nearly four hours! Incredible. We ate lunch too, at Carluccio's and finished it off with a Nutella cheesecake! I'd never heard of one, so got excited when I saw it on the menu. It was delicious!

And apart from one particular Florida student giving an amazing speech, the other really noteworthy bit of news was the passing away of Billy Graham aged 99; a man who helped changed millions of lives for the better.
