Alpamare

After breakfast, headed back to Germany and up towards Munich stopping for a day-long sojourn at the Alpamare Swimming Centre in Bad Tölz a spa town.

Opened in 1970 with Germany's first wave machine. A chain of them was planned when bought by a Spanish company but somehow it all went wrong and the centre was closed in 2015 and still much missed by many.

Lots of water slides, saunas, artificial light sunning areas, outdoor pool reached by swimming "through" the wall.Had lunch there and eventually headed home and a trip out to the horse stables to do some riding in the indoor hall on Asyr & Nero.
