Ojito Wilderness

My friend Barbara, her dog, the pup and I went hiking in the Ojito today. It was beautiful and amazing out there. This picture does some justice to the colors out there. It is pretty similar to my last Ojito picture, but this one is so much closer. I tried a bunch of other photos for today's shot (here), but this one I kept coming back to.

Joe, the pup, revealed a great fascination with the looking over the edges of cliffs. He kept running right up to the edge and looking out while wagging his tail. It would have been comical if not a bit scary. Joe and Miki Su (my friend's Shar Pei) had a delightful time dog dancing through the wilderness and meeting up with other dogs on the trail.

It is just so much fun watching the dog enjoy himself.

Today I am grateful for the day I was given, friends, dogs and the magnificent New Mexican landscape.
