Kings Arms

Today a bit of local music history. The Kings Arms Tavern is an Auckland music venue that is just about to be demolished to be replaced by apartments. Over the last twenty years it has played host to hundreds of international ( usually before they were famous ) and local bands. Not the largest of venues it was the typical sweaty, sticky place where you could be up close with the performer and even shake their hand on the way out. It will be sadly missed.
