THE REUNION

After a good flight, sadly with mediocre food, and hardly any sleep, then a hairy taxi ride to our hotel - the scooters and motor bikes have to be seen to be believed - we met our son and his girlfriend. It was just as if we had seen him last week!

He said we hadn’t changed a bit! Hua, the concierge took this photograph - my arms just aren’t long enough for a foursome selfie!

Jules then took us out for a quick wander round so we could see some of the “real” Saigon and we are now catching up on some rest before meeting them again this evening.

Still can’t believe we’re here!  Thank you for all your kind comments and good wishes yesterday. Comments will be rather sparse, for the next few days anyway.  M xx
