Female Common Lizard
What a stonkingly glorious autumn afternoon we had here. The sun shone and the air was warm with virtually no wind. Andrew and I took off to walk Rona and ended up along the Carron valley reservoir. It was here that this little character scurried across the trail right in front of us. At one point she even tried to hide under Andrew's boot. Although called a Common Lizard, they are not commonly seen so we count ourselves quite lucky.
It's a great night on the TV tonight so time to settle down and get the feet up!
