Had a lovely day. Walked the permissive path this morning with Rowan and then dashed to Asda as I had suddenly decided to have family to lunch. Lunch worked out fine - daughter, son-in-law, and 3 of my grandchildren. They had been in York yesterday partly to buy Sarah a new full-size violin. She gave me a lovely demonstration.

Then we went to Tynemouth for the afternoon in the glorious sun. Warm, glowing and wonderful. Took some great pics but still preferred Sarah playing her golden fiddle.
