Field Trip

Today I went on a field trip. It went something like this:

Get up (ridiculously early for a Sunday morning)

Arrive at meeting point on time.

Wait for the bus for 20 minutes before the bus company phone to say the original bus has broken down but they will send a replacement 'soon'

Replacement bus arrives (45 minutes late)

Get on possibly the oldest bus I have ever seen

Travel for an hour in which I try not to be sick

Get to the field site even later due to the fact that the dodgy bus almost couldn't get up the hills.

Tramp accross the moors for a few hours

Take some measurements up a massive hill

Eat lunch and choke on my bagel

Take even more measurements up an even bigger hill

Tramp back across the moors to the bus

Travel back.

The only good thing about today was that, unlike most geography trips, it did not rain.
