Mountain Shadows on the Clouds

A wonderful but very strange effect on the mountains above us this morning. The Nant Valley is glacial at this time of year, the sun never gets over the ridges but I love the silence there. A few chamois (extra) were walking over avalanche debris, eating the bark from saplings to survive the cold. They looked healthy enough, but what a difficult life they have at this time of year.
