Relaxing at Schiphol ... On my way home

A six hour lay over in Amsterdam, after an eleven hour flight from Los Angeles. The screen with the living room scene kept changing colour, a very classy relaxation area. There is a grand piano nearby, and travellers are encouraged to play. A treat to listen to a teenager playing Chopin, Beethoven and Elton John pieces. Quality entertainment.

An "awesome" week (not my usual vocabulary). I've been to Hollywood, even met a Star who appears on the Walk of Fame, and had a very unexpected midnight ride in a LAPD fast car - for the right reasons!

Blip highlight has to be meeting Catherine Lacey and her gorgeous boys on Santa Monica Pier.

Currently dealing with jetlag .... and heaps of laundry.
