Inverleith Boating Pond

Children are like halogen light bulbs at waking up time; shining bright on full power at the flick of the switch. I, however am more like a low energy bulb from the cardboard box in IKEA; cheap, slow to illuminate and a little disappointing.

I happened to be wandering through Stockbridge on this bright morning and found myself watching the boaters at leisure on the pond. There was a wide array of vessels on show from a yacht in full sail, to a paddle steamer.
