V for Victory...
With the Castle guides, I enjoyed a visit to the amazing Mary Rose Museum in Portsmouth - and I hadn't seen the Victory since I was about 11! The extras are the sign explaining the dramatic bronze figure, (I can remember the annual field gun competition!) and the preserved remains of Henry VIII's flagship the Mary Rose which tragically sank in 1545 before his royal eyes - fully laden with provisions and crew, about to set off against the French. Everything on board was preserved in the mud and the conservationists have very cleverly preserved and displayed it all, including the ship's dog - even showing hologram figures cooking, doing carpentry, firing canons, et al. It is close to Lord Nelson's famous ship the Victory. Worth a visit!
