Partial Eclipse of the Sun

At this moment we are having a partial eclipse of the sun that will still last another hour, or so.

The day started off with clear skies, but within a short time, banks of cloud moved in from the sea to give me an opportunity to have a look sunwards.

And there it was, a big chunk was gone and growing more so.

Knowing the dangers, I took only very short peeks, just to be able to point the camera in that direction.

As I am not equipped with the correct filters, I had to rely on what the low clouds could provide.

It is not possible at the moment to look toward the sun without protective glasses - so this blip is the 'best' for the moment.
