Drain

A month of days, to the day, I get a message saying that my repaired camera is ready for collection. I walk rather than cycle to collect it so that I will be able to walk home with it, playing on the way. And there it is, clean and working. All my settings have been overwritten by the updated firmware but it is the camera I know (more or less) how to use. So off I go, staring down drains, finding forms in windows, taking pictures I took with the stand-in so I can compare them, for a happy 45 minutes until something else, something quite new, goes wrong.

Back I walk to the camera shop. Yes, they agree, this is not right. Back the camera goes into its bubble-wrap and back to the repairers...
