Brother, can you spare a dime?

An oldie but goody...  I woke up and there was 2 inches / 5 cm of snow on the ground.. it got deeper as I went to work.. The first 200 miles the truck and trailer were dancing in up to 5 inches / 13 cm of snow.. The second 200 miles they were basking in the sunshine with blue skies and mostly dry roads... Going to be really cold tonight and things will refreeze... I will have to be on the lookout for those icy patches tomorrow...

Besides watching blips go by, I'm also watching the nuthatches, chickadees, sparrows, finches, bushtits and... All were very grateful for unfrozen water...
