Still life with lemon, plate and bird

I spent a lot of time writing a document today. But I also went to the cinema for the morning showing of Paddington 2 for oldies. What a great film!

It was bitterly cold, but we did get a few late rays of afternoon sunshine. I'm not sure that the stone bird really belongs in this composition. It just sneaked in.

Today's fairly unwelcome realisation is that I might just be allergic to wine! A glass of Sauvignon definitely makes my throat raw, as if it has just been rubbed down with an emery board.

Let's hope I never become allergic to reading, or stories, or music. Or Paddington Bear.

In other news, the family circle has raised enough spondulicks to have the rest of the cine films converted into DVD/digital files. I can't wait to see the rest of them!
