Pumpkin Patch!

I thought that when the kids got to Middle School, we would be able to say goodbye to the pumpkin patch.

I thought wrong.

The kids are home from college for the weekend to belatedly celebrate my birthday. I have a migraine thanks to some hidden MSG in the frozen Thai Chicken Curry I had for lunch yesterday. To add to the family fun day we also all got flu shots before heading off to the pumpkin patch.

Amazingly today was the first day they were open for the season and we were their first customers so we had the whole crop to pick from.

As you can see, picking the perfect pumpkin requires a lot of concentration!
